Why older people are in need of old age homes Disintegration of families has become the trend of these days. Nuclear family are preferred than combined family. Industrialisation and urbanisation has enhanced the need of nuclear family. Developed countries have overcome the problem of old age home but we are still struggling to coop with the old age problems and consequent their management. Diseases which follow lack of immunity due to old age and disabilities which is outcome of degeneration of cells with age is the main challenge to be managed. This can only be possible if we provide special hospitals to have regular watch of health of old citizens. Good nutrition is also secondary very important factor to be arranged but our country does not stand that standard. Granting a required respect and not leaving old persons on the mercy of society or children.
